Left 4 Dead 2, the successor to Left 4 Dead, and a good one at that might i add.
It is still a game where you go from point A to point B while you kill zombies (or "infecteds") however, it sees many improvements, both from a graphical perspective and a gameplay perspective.
There isn't really a straight story that you follow in game, there are no cutscenes, no "missions" or things like that; everything is told via environmental storytelling and character dialogue/interactions (which i will be mentioning later).
The "story" that you kinda have to work with is that you and three other survivors need to reach New Orleans to get rescued by the CEDA and the military; that-s pretty much the concept you start with.
Your game starts atop a burning hotel "Dead Center" and while you make your way down, you see which cities have been taken over by the Green Flu which is pretty much this game's version of "the virus that started it all"; you will also get to meet special infecteds as well.
I will not be talking about every campaign "chapter" or whatever you wanna call them, as the order in which they are played is not very clear to me and because this review would take eons to make if i were to talk about every campaign into detail so, if you wanna know more, experience the game(s) for yourselves once you're done reading this review.
